Updated for 2023: Easy Garden Irrigation is a UK-based garden irrigation supplier, stocking some of the leading gardening equipment brands from around the world. They came to Evergreen at the start of 2022 with the desire to increase sales for some of their primary products and brands.

The Problem

Despite stocking some of the leading garden irrigation brands around the world, Easy Garden Irrigation did not have the level of brand awareness and online visibility it needed to be recognised as the go-to authority for all things gardening and garden irrigation.

We knew we needed to support the client using a comprehensive strategy that included all of our digital marketing services. We needed to boost their online presence ahead of their peak summer season to hit and, hopefully, exceed their sales targets for the year.

The Solution

We knew only a bespoke content marketing strategy would allow Easy Garden Irrigation to achieve its growth and sales targets for the year. We planned and created robust content clusters that addressed all informational queries that users were searching for with guides and assets that were tailored to the user.

This transformed Easy Garden’s website, taking it from a ‘shop window’ offering minimal value, to a high-value information resource packed full of evergreen content, which Google could use and present to those searching for answers on their gardening queries.

Our SEO team paid particular attention to the product category pages to ensure that each was optimised to match the commercial intent behind product-specific terms, removing as many barriers to purchase as possible to make for a better user experience and improve conversion rates.

Simultaneously, we built the site’s domain authority and brand awareness using a strategic promotional method, where we outreach expert comments for the client and secured features in numerous industry-leading and national publications!

We also used a combination of advanced PPC tactics with a mix of search ads and shopping ads that were all completely tailored for the user to maximise the visibility of Easy Garden Irrigation during their peak summer season.

The Outcome

Within the first year of  partnering with Evergreen, Easy Garden Irrigation had their best summer to date, surpassing £2,000,000+ worth of ecommerce sales; a 52% increase in year-on-year sales for the same period.
